If you know anything about me you’ll know I just love flowers and nature and Erstwilder has made my dreams come true in their latest launch “In Full Bloom“. In full bloom is a collection dedicated to flowers and houseplants – from monsteras to orchids – there’s something for everyone (but let’s be real anything Erstwilder creates is just gorgeous). I got to choose four pieces from this collection and I can’t wait to share with you all of my favourites!
This collection in it’s entirety is perfectly cohesive – you can mix and match and I love the fact that there are matching earrings to brooches or necklaces to brooches. It makes me want to buy all of them! I’ve never been much of a necklace wearer but the rose and lily bunch would look perfect with so many of my outfits. Every time I look at the collection I want another piece – what piece do you love the most? I’m so excited to see what you all like!
On Sleeping Eyelids – Pansy Brooch – Designed by Carmen Hui (Viola tricolor var. hortensis) Pansies are one of my absolute favourite flowers so when I saw this in the collection I knew I had to have it! It’s such a gorgeous brooch, it’s purple hues and the resin used make it such a spectacular piece. It has been so hard not wearing it all of the time!! Flowers are so perfect for people that like to go with a more “classical’ vintage look and the pansy is a must have! I can’t wait until Autumn so I can grow some this year! 🙂
Opulent Orchidaceae – Designed by Carmen Hui (Orchidaceae) Another flower! Orchids are such a beautiful flower and perfect. I picked the ORCHID because I loved the colours of this one and it would match perfectly with the pansy (my other favourite!) Fun fact: There are over 25,000 different species of orchids on earth – isn’t that crazy??
Green Eyed Monster Brooch – Designed by Carmen Hui (Monstera deliciosa) This summer I have become slightly obsessed with plants and the fact that Erstwilder came out with a range of house plants is just too much! I can now wear one of my favourite things! The monstera has really been “in” for the last few years – now I can finally follow the trend but in a quirky Erstwilder way!
Show Me the Money Plant Brooch – Designed by Carmen Hui (Epipremnum aureum) There’s something very sinister about Devil’s Ivy – they are really hard to kill and can pretty much grow anywhere and everywhere. Also they’re moderately toxic to humans (via Wiki) so instead of hurting yourself , cats and dogs, why not wear it in brooch form? The house plants collection is perfect for all of you plant obsessed people or the plant obsessed people in your lives! They’re subtle but still super fun and informative!
A huge thank you to the team at Erstwilder for sending me these amazing brooches and for allowing me to be part of this release. I had so much fun putting all of these looks together and I’m so excited to wear each piece everyday!!
Disclaimer: Although these pieces from Erstwilder were sent to me all my thoughts & opinions are honest and my own. I do not accept products without researching brands beforehand and that aren’t suitable for me or my readers.
Well, well, well… I’m back with another Lady V London dress because once again they have kicked it out of the park! If you haven’t been keeping up with me (for the past TWO years) you won’t know that I absolutely love Lady V London. I could go on and on about my love for them (and I will) but to get more of an idea of what Lady V London brings to the table you can check out my previous reviews of the Lyra Dress, Eloise Dress & the Butterfly Border Tea Dress. Lady V London is a brand I love working with but also a brand I actually shop with and wholeheartedly believe in the product, that’s why I get super excited when that dress arrives at my house – I know it’s going to be fantastic.
Well I’m back with another Lady V London review but this time it’s different! This time I’m calling it a first impressions review, I’ve seen this idea in Youtube videos and I’m sure there have been many blog posts but I’ve never done this before! This week I’ll share my first impressions on the Lady V London Lyra Dress in the Summer Cherish print; what I like about it, why I purchased it, how it feels and the fit – like a review but without the commitment, ha!
As you saw from my previous Lady V London review I had wanted a Lyra dress for a long time but as far as I knew they were only in sizes 16 + but thankfully Lady V London recently released the Lyra dress in a size 14! But what had really sold it to me was my best friend Xamia Arc buying her first Lyra (in Leopard – read her post here); once she told me she had bought hers I bought mine the next day! She’s such an enabler but she’s always right about these things! Continue reading “The Lyra Dress – Lady V London – First Impressions”→
I love the outfit of the day concept also known as “OOTD” posts – the initial outfit idea, putting the outfit together, photographing and sharing it with y’all! It’s something I love to do on all of my social media platforms particularly Instagram and I want to showcase it more here and actually talk through the outfits because not only do I love sharing my outfits but I also love reading outfits of the day posts. I hope you enjoy these two very different looks; I had a lot of fun styling my Atomic Tote and I hope you can get a little bit of inspiration!
Flamingo Border Tea Dress – Lady V London
My first outfit came to me as soon as I knew my Sun Jellies Atomic Tote in yellow was coming my way (I am OBSESSED) – SPRING. I wanted as many spring like colours as possible so as always I purchased a Lady V London dress and this time I went with the Flamingo Tea Dress in pink dress this time from local shop Kabella Baby. First off this dress is amazing and I have wanted it since its release; not only are the colours/print incredible & striking, it has pockets AND it’s also made out of 96% Polyester / 4% Elastine so you don’t have to iron it. I repeat you do NOT have to iron this dress before wear… I am so over ironing dresses and I’ve been able to throw this dress in my bag and travel with it without it creasing (a miracle)! I also have been loving brooches/pins just to add a little detail to an outfit and with this one I am wearing my current obsessions “RESTING BABE FACE” by Oh You Fox and my fav pink doughnut brooch by Bel Air Baby – I love them so much!
Ascot Swing Dress in Cobalt Blue – The Pretty Dress Company
I spoke about this dress in my blog post from last week and on that occasion I had dressed it up now it was time for me tone it down a little. I was only heading to the supermarket so I wanted something that looked good, I could wear my hair down with and didn’t need too many accessories. And the Ascot Swing Dress in Cobalt Blue by The Pretty Dress Company (bought at Rita Sue Clothing) was the perfect fit AND it went well with my Sun Jellies Atomic Tote which I was bringing along on my supermarket trip as it carries heaps and the handles don’t hurt my hands! Again the material is 63% Polyester, 32% Viscose, 5% Spandex which makes it SUPER comfortable and I’m only interested in clothes that are comfortable and I don’t have to iron – hurrah!
Thanks for the read – that’s two blog posts in a row! Can you believe it?! I will hopefully have a third post up next week it all depends on life stuff but I can promise you that I am working on a SERIOUSLY cool project at the moment (photos to come)!
This is just a general guide filled with Christmas goods from Lindy Bop; a lot of green and A LOT of red. It’s so close to Christmas now it’s okay to be covered head to toe in red and green right? I want to look like a candy cane for at least 2 weeks of December and Lindy Bop has really fulfilled this dream of mine. Sorry in advance to all my readers that don’t get this Christmas obsession; just think of it as a red & green pin up outfit suggestions?
