Is it socially acceptable to wear sunglasses in winter? I don’t know and I don’t care. Sometimes you just want to go out without eye makeup or if you’re like me avoid eye contact with strangers because you’re an anxious freak. Or maybe you just want to look fabulous and avoid the winter sun (because it’s a real thing)! Well the Two Lippy Ladies kindly sent me a pair of the Catch a Thief – Glaring Glamour sunglasses in black which I have been lusting over for a while! Well, it’s finally here.. Winter. It was inevitable really but I was still hoping it wouldn’t happen. Unfortunately I have zero winter approved clothing but I do have at least ten dresses made out of the lightest cotton ever and a few cardigans from k-mart (which aren’t doing the trick)! So I’m left with hypothermia feels every time I leave the house or in fact the comfort & warmth of my bed. So I have come up with a Winter Wardrobe Wishlist. This is a general overview but I feel like it covers all of the bases; warming factors and keeping my cheesecake pinup aesthetic – cute and practical. I hope this can help some of you that are having a style block or just need some encouragement to buy more clothes. Please excuse the huge Collectif Clothing influence – there are just too many nice things on their website!!
Saturdays are one of my favourite days of the week; I get to spend the day with my boyfriend, go food shopping, laze around and last Saturday was no exception! I’ve been dying to wear an amazing hair scarf that I had won in a pinnylicious giveaway but I felt that all my of my dresses weren’t the right shade of blue. That is until I realized I had the perfect dress in my wardrobe all along; a turquoise dress with pale pink flowers that matched the turquoise and pink of the hair scarf perfectly – as soon as it clicked I knew I had to pair them together.
