Well, well, well… I’m back with another Lady V London dress because once again they have kicked it out of the park! If you haven’t been keeping up with me (for the past TWO years) you won’t know that I absolutely love Lady V London. I could go on and on about my love for them (and I will) but to get more of an idea of what Lady V London brings to the table you can check out my previous reviews of the Lyra Dress, Eloise Dress & the Butterfly Border Tea Dress. Lady V London is a brand I love working with but also a brand I actually shop with and wholeheartedly believe in the product, that’s why I get super excited when that dress arrives at my house – I know it’s going to be fantastic.
Why I love Lady V London:
The Quality – the fabrics are soft to the touch but strong; none of the flimsy ali-express business here! I’ve not had one Lady V London dress zip break on me and I have worn these dresses A LOT. Each piece I have is in beautiful condition and that’s with me throwing them in the washing machine on random cycles! They are made to last.
Ethical Fashion – I speak about this every time I work with Lady V London but again it really sets them apart from the game! Lady V London garments are ethically made in London and you can really tell the difference.
Affordability – As someone that works in hospitality/retail I don’t have a massive budget when it comes to clothes and I know that I’m not the only once that faces that problem. When it comes to the “pin-up” world costs can add up really quickly (trust me, I know) and what I like about Lady V London is that their dresses are at an affordable prices AND are ethically made. They have their lines in solid colours so you can build a wardrobe and create core pieces that you can build upon.
That brings me to a new arrival from Lady V London: The Annie Dress.
This particular Annie Dress is the flared dress in summer fern but it also has a sister dress in the wiggle style which is just as fabulous. As soon as I saw this dress I knew I wanted it; it may be winter, it may be 12 degrees on a warm day but I want to pretend it’s summer. So I am.
The Annie dress really gives off an authentic 1950’s look especially in the core structure; the V neck with the collar and the buttoned bodice really pulls it all together. I love the length, the POCKETS and the fact that it is made from 97% cotton – can I get a hell yeah? Because it really makes a difference.
This dress is perfect for all year round; I’ll be wearing this dress in winter (with a cardigan & stockings) & in summer with my arms out! Plus, it has ample room for a petticoat or two!
Thank y’all so much for tuning in this week and remember to subscribe to my blog!
Although the Annie Dress from Lady V London was sent me all my thoughts & opinions are honest and my own. I do not accept products without researching brands beforehand and that aren’t suitable for me or my readers.
