I’m not going to lie to y’all – I’m very short on time this week so I’m keeping it real simple & sweet! This week I’m bringing to you a cute outfit of the day also known as an OOTD post but with tons of photos and promises of a better post next week. What do you as a reader prefer; photo heavy posts or word heavy posts? Recipes or fashion? Please let me know down below!
This dress is the dress of dreams.. this was custom made for me by the lovely Fran from Cry Cry Cry Clothing and it’s everything I want and more. I think one of my favourite parts of the dress is the fact that it’s full circle and can easily fit two full petticoats underneath giving it an over the top fifties vibe (which I love!) I had this dress made for my talent component of Miss Pinup New Zealand with Hairspray (the musical) in mind and Fran took the idea and ran with it and did the best job imaginable. The fabric in real life feel so authentic and it actually feels & looks like vintage which isn’t easy to do with reproduction! As always I highly recommend Cry Cry Cry Clothing; she’s fab!! If you have any questions feel free to message me as I’m happy to help. 🙂
The cardigan pictured is one of my most favourite brands ever!! I purchased this one from Two Lippy Ladies at the Very Vintage Day Out 2017 and I have had so much wear out of it since. I find the MAK cardigans the best on the market, I have them in almost every colour!!! They are the perfect length and cut just right for swing dresses which was almost impossible to find before I heard about them. Two Lippy Ladies stock a lot of them as do Rita Sue Clothing & Doll Me Up Clothing.
Now the shoes… My holy grail heels! Sam (my amazing boyfriend) purchased these babies in America earlier this year and I am obsessed!!! These are honestly so comfortable and I highly recommend them even if you don’t feel super comfortable in heels. This is coming from someone who used to detest heels & I now have four pairs! I’m definitely not obsessed or anything…
Thank y’all so much for tuning in this week and remember to subscribe to my blog!
