Wishlist Wednesday #1

Everyday I come across at least one thing that catches my eye and unfortunately I am not a millionaire (yet) so I have decided to come up with a new weekly segment on the blog! Seven wishlist items, one special piece of clothing/food/books/accessories for each day of the week. I hope I can add some new pieces to your current wishlist (just in time for Christmas) or even show you a new brand or two that you may have never heard of. What are some of your current wishlist items? I know a lot of mine at the moment are to do with Spring as it is starting to warm up in New Zealand – thankfully most of my wardrobe is adaptable and can transition nicely into the warmer months… that doesn’t stop me from wanting all of the halter neck dresses though!

Honey L’Amour & NFC Art and Designs – Big Hair Club T-shirt
WHY: When Honey L’amour first featured it on her Facebook I pretty much freaked out. It is an absolutely amazing collaboration between Honey L’amour (fashion designer/seamstress) and NFC Art and Designs (Artist) and it pretty much encapsulates everything I am or try to be. The sass, hair and the winged eyeliner are all of the #goals and to top it off it’s in pink! Just give it to me now!! (Top on my wishlist and will probably buy it before Christmas).
PRICE:$40 NZD

Lazybones – Marilyn Dress in Eden
WHY:
If you know anything about me you will know that I absolutely adore Lazybones – they’re ethically made and they effortlessly recreate that vintage look without making it look cheesy. The Marilyn dress in Eden is the perfect Spring time dress and would be prefect with a huge floppy hat – pretty much my Spring/Summer uniform! Also look at the baby blue; how could I not fall in love with this dress?
PRICE: $155 NZD

Kate Spade – Jazz Things Up – Small Hayden
WHY:  I absolutely adore Kate Spade in general but when this bag popped up at work I immediately wanted it – not needed it. With it’s Saffiano leather making it scratch/water resistant, it’s detachable hip strap and quirky design – it’s pretty much perfection in bag form for someone as kitsch as me. Unfortunately this one is probably going to stay on my wishlist for a very long time due to the price but a girl can dream!
PRICE: 457.21 NZD direct from the website

Well unfortunately Kate Spade doesn’t ship to New Zealand (shakes fist) but you can always give YouShop a go?

Lindy Bop – Corinna Pale Blue Gingham Dress
WHY: I have been in search for a pale blue gingham print for such a long time now and then I saw that Lindybop were bringing the Corinna dress in pale blue to their website! I pretty much want all of the Corinna’s in every colour so it was pretty hard to pick just one for the wishlist but there’s always next week! This would be perfect for a picnic which is how I try to dress 95% of the time.
PRICE: $48.19 NZD

Wittner – Kind Heels
WHY: I have to be honest here – I have been struggling to find shoes that actually fit my very weird feet. I feel like I’ve tried almost every brand but Wittner feels very trustworthy and something a sensible lady would buy (a brand my Mum would buy). So I came across these shoes (again, at work; so many temptations?) and I think they would be perfect for my retail job (standing for eight and a half hours is no joke) but would also work well with my pin-up wardrobe too!
PRICE: 160.42 NZD

Mimco – Dive In Oval Bangle
WHY: After watching IRIS (go watch it – it’s on Netflix) I’ve really wanted to get in accessorizing and this simple bangle from Mimco is just what I was looking for! As much as I love bright colours – I do quite like my earthy tones. This could go with pretty much all of my wardrobe and it  has a matching bangle so I could stack!!
PRICE: $49.90 NZD

Besame – 1959 Red Hot Red Lipstick
WHY: I am going to say something and this may shock you. I have never owned a Besame lipstick, I know this absolutely criminal in the pin up world but I am just one of those people that uses the same products over and over again because I know that they work! This time next year I want to say I have owned a Besame lipstick- the packaging alone makes me want it not to mention the shades! This would be my favourite shade out of their line and would be my go-to lippy!
PRICE: $30.60 NZD
